In an unusual move for Wicked, Strangers features none of the company's contract girls (albeit contract boy Spears does play the male lead); rather, it stars Female Performer of the Year nominee Sativa Rose, who radiates such adorability and acting flair, it's a wonder she doesn't have a contract herself.
The plotline, similar to that of Stanley's Best Video Feature-nominated silent movie 1000 Words (and he even mentions in the BTS wanting to tell the story visually) deals with missed-opportunity longing between Rose and Spears. It's affecting, and their sex scene together is red-hot.
